Bringing your business to the web is a risky thing. Data was once protected by routers and firewalls, but now it's been brought through the layers of security with remote procedure calls and database queries made available to the public.
A penetration test is the process of evaluating the security of your network. The security measures are analyzed for design weaknesses, technical flaws, failings in the policies and procedures and then the results are delivered in a report. Penetration testing gives a company a chance to make sure their system is secure, and give them not only peace of mind but possible compliance with the increasing insurance and government regulations. Testhouse offers the following Penetration Testing Services:
- External Security Review (Level 1)
This review is targeted to the security of external firewalls, routers and other networked systems visible to the Internet. It also includes access to the DMZ and internal networks. Testhouse offers a number of different approaches to simulate different attack scenarios in order to provide you with a full risk profile.
- External Security Review (Level 2)
This improves on the Level 1 review, in that we examine and exploit all the possible vulnerabilities, rather than only concentrating on access to the network. This kind of review is more exhaustive and we develop a complete list of all the access points available.
This review is aimed at testing the security of the internal firewalls, routers and other networked systems visible only on internal networks. This testing is done from the internal network itself.
Additionally, at the end of the testing phase, we will present our findings to your technical team, and we will take as much time as required to explain the finer points until everyone understands the implications in full.
